For safe entry into the cleanroom, the active personnel air shower is an essential component. The personnel air shower minimizes particles on clothing or materials, preventing them from being introduced into the cleanroom. Cross-contamination is thus avoided. To overcome the adhesion of the particles, people or materials are blasted with high-energy air jets (approx. 25 m/s). The detached particles are then removed, and the individuals can enter the cleanroom. This ensures the customer-required product protection within the designated system.
Additionally, the integration of an ionization device can significantly reduce the electrostatic adhesion forces of the particles and increase the cleaning effect.
Our air shower for people is powered by a high-performance radial fan in the drive module above the shower unit. The fan draws in air through the two intake ducts bordering the room and blows it through HEPA filters into the corner ducts, each equipped with 14 nozzles. The arrangement of the nozzles creates a vortex-like rotary flow, in which the airflow efficiently detaches the particles and separates them via the integrated filters.

For low ceiling heights, a version with a height of 2,500 mm is also available.
Our air showers are available with two or three doors. Custom sizes, e.g., as material airlocks, are always possible.
